Ok this might be a stupid question but please bear with me lol
Is 3D SMax the only program that I can edit meshes? Cuz I'm really dumb when it comes to that stuff?
So is there like a dumbed down program of some sort or am I screwed into learning 3D SMax? :(
depending on what you want to do Nifscope can do many things. Go to the Hex section.
Ok cool! Thanks. I'll defantly go check that out. ;)

I know how you feel...
I actually have a student version of 3ds Max, but apparently it lacks some features needed for meshing in this game. And I can't find the inheritance left me by my dead uncle to spend on a full version. NifSkope seems pretty straight forward, though; and if all you want is to set some items on a mesh to invisible, you should try the mesh editor. I don't have a link handy, but if you send your email, I can attempt to send you the install.exe. Otherwise, I know the link is listed elsewhere in the forums.
Best of luck, Gillman.
MeshEditor! That's the name of that program. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the thing.

Before NifSkope, this was one of my favorite tools.
