Title: Mesh issue with FFvTTR
Post by: EvilScott on May 02, 2007, 12:41:36 PM
Hey I recently nabbed  :ffvstr: and I'm having an issue with some of my custom skins. Some of them appear just fine but many of them appear as a white cube with an X thru it. The directory structure is all good as far as I can tell - are some meshes just not compatible with  :ffvstr:? None of the custom_mesh pack from ModForce shows up (they all have the cube with the X). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thx.

Yes, some need to be converted.

Kindly read all the FAQs before proceeding further.

I read a bunch of the FAQs, I must have missed the answer. Apologies. Which FAQ is it under?

Ha, well, I'm honestly not sure.  Cat, does that FAQ still exist?  EvilScott, some meshes need to be converted, and you can find a great utility for that here: http://www.alexff.com/  under the mods and goodies section.  That is also an excellent site for skins and has a few great mods for the first game.
