okay long story short my computer died and I got a new one and I had to reset up all my freedom force stuff including ezfx 6.0 ffx 3.1 -3.2 and now when I set up new fx they only show in regular ffvsttr and not ffx! Can anyone help me on this?
Install FFX 3.2 beta again and it will fix it.
reinstalled it and I'm still getting the same problem, do I have to merge dat files or something or is there anything else I can do?

FFX and FFVTTR don't share fx dats so you will need to merge. Also, to prevent the need to merge, you could just install the fx directly into FFX next time by changing the primary data path in ffedit

Actually, you shouldn't need to merge at all. As of the FFX 3.2 public beta, FFX contains the merged dats in the installer. Installing EZFX directly into the FFX folder is a VERY bad idea, as it will overwrite a lot of FFX-specific FX that are needed.
The FFX 3.2 beta installer auto-detects EZFX and installs the merged dats automatically.
Or it's supposed to anyways.
At any rate, you can get the same result by merging them yourself.

Cat, I think he was talking about custom fx
not included in ezfx which is why I suggested merging and installing directly into ffx. Though I may be wrong. At any rate, one, if not both, of our ideas/suggestions should help him greatly. :P
Ah, reading that again, you may be right.
Now I feel stupid. I mean, more so than usual.
