Long before the Big Wipe, Zapow started a thread called 'Ring the Bell'. He got the idea from the sign you see in Long John Silver's which reads 'If we did well, Ring the bell'.
The purpose of the thread is if someone did something nice, or appricated, you gave them a 'ring of the bell' to show everyone what a spiffy person they are.
So to get this thread a goin' I'm going to start it off to the man who started the original in the first place. He sometimes catches alot of flak from folks, but he has always tried to do what he has thought best for FR. So, in the spirit of the original thread, I give Zapow a good ol' fashioned RING O' THE BELL!

A ring for sir alex for returning to the community.
A ring for sir knick for giving me some help on a certain character's dialogue.
A ring for sir TPE for being the best phantom everzzz.
A ring for sir syn for all the custom meshes I've forced...er...gotten him to make for some mods.
A ring for sir Rick for being such a mook. :P
And finally, a ring for the community for remaining alive, completely or partially, for another year.
A ring of the bell for Premmy, always trying to get me into new things and getting me off my lazy but and sometimes succeeding.
A ring of the bell for Reep, with whom I had many great adventures in CoH and on the forum, I will restore the Treehouse!
A ring of the bell for Silver Shocker for being the most loyal and only fan of my RPGs, we should catch up some time.
And a ring of the bell to the community for being here all these years.
A ring of the bell to Tommyboy, Renegade, C6, Carravagio, Unkoman, Grenadier, Texas Jack...aw hell, a ring of the bell to everyone. You're all awesome, and you've all been a huge help and inspiration to me. Thanks for everything so far. :D :D :D
I'll ring the old bell for prem, because he always stays up late with me, to find out where I've messed up me scripting. Thanks Prem! :thumbup:
I'd like to...uh...ring the bell for C6 and Paradox...because after spending much time skinning on their bases (in particular), I was able to go to another game, with completely different and eternally more confusing maps, and make a decently accurate base on my first try without even mirroring... :blink: :blink: :blink: reason being, the time i spent looking at their well-made bases helped me understand how muscles should look and where they should be placed...i guess.
i don't know how that's possible, still....and I bet I STILL couldn't make a base in Freedom Force...

I'd like to ring the bell for Tortuga for transcending the barriers of the intarwebs and giving me a job reference RE: a website I did for him, resulting in me getting the job I was applying for. :D
Thus proving, once and for all, that the Internet IS real life. :P

To all of y'all who frequent this board and help it to remain an oasis of good humor and general humanity. Having dealt with far too much online "drama" as of late, this place is truly an oasis and thank you all who make it so.

GogglesPizanno - for helping me out with my EZNif issues.
Daglob - for responding heroically (and swiftly!) to a minor niggle with a skin and mesh.
Previsionary - for pointing me in the right direction when I couldn't get CTool2 to work.
kssaints and doctorchallenger - for their "Trials of Shazam" meshes.
Klauser - for hooking me up with about a dozen hard to find meshes, going above and beyond to get them to me.
