has there ever been an ultimate, matrix, or modern version of the main characters done?
i need an angry minuteman, at this point. done on the regular mesh, maybe in black leather.
new mesh in the works, mostly done.
I think there was someone back in the early days who did a series of "2002" skins of some of the major characters (similar costumes, but darker and more modernized), but I cant for life of my remember who it was. I think the skins were originally for :ff: but If I remember correctly, I tried them on :ffvstr: meshes and they worked.
I'll have to go back to my archive drive and see If I can find them when I get home from work if noone else can point you in the right direction first.
I know I've seen at least a Minute Man, Man O' War, and El Diable done modern style at New Power Inc. somewhere... but I don't recall who did them and cannot seem to find them now.
There are a couple of Minute Man variants, as I recall. Minute Man 2K is a modernised skin on the classic mesh, and there's an Ultimate Minute Man that I think is based off one of the Captain America meshes. I have them at home, but I'll be away from my machine until Saturday night. Let me know if you want either of them.

Those skins used to be hosted at Electric Freedom, but never got reposted anywhere after EF went down. There were recolors of the original meshes - with the colors being replaced mostly with black.

Those were done by Zuludelta. They may be still lurking around in NPI somewhere.

MM2K was by Pyroclasm. I think it is at Freedom Asylum. It's for Gren's Checkmate Knight. The Ulitmate MM is in the hexed meshes section of FX Force.

Not real relevant to the topic ... bit those Gyrphon's skins you reference are
outstanding replacements for the standard FF characters for our British cousins.
IIRC, there was a set of Canadian themed skins of the standard FF characters. Not sure of the skinner or what site it is/was on.

Canadian set was a mod by DarkJared. It disappeared with the Comic Skins Network, but fear not... I have it, if you want it.
I just looked up the old Freedom Force 2002 skins I have and they were a set done by Ink.

Ink is cool. i'm going to go ahead and upload the ones i got to a yahoo group, unless anyone thinks i shouldn't.
Checked my archive disk, and my set of "2K" FF skins are all corrupted, so consider this a vote in favour of making them available again. If you still want the "Ultimate Minute Man" skin, I'll forward it tonight.
uploaded all of ink's skins to one of his yahoo groups, from 2003, link in the releases section.
i would be happy to get glitch girls skins, if anyone has them, for the gender twists. interceptors look good, but not what i'm needing. maybe the female order...
i also need tga versions of the dds skins for skyking. what is used to view dds? or maybe a new skyking skin?

I'd say check tommyboy's site. He's done a Batgirl on motorcycle, right? You could hex off the Batgirl parts and hex on whatever you like.
