Have any skins/meshes been made for Alan Moore's League been made?
By that I'm guessing that you mean the 19th century version of the League (as depicting in the recent movie starring Sean Connery etc.). According to Wikipedia, there were several series of teams throughout much of the last 500-600 years filled with extrordinary people...the first being "Prospero's Men" (which ironically, even back in the 17th century still included atleast one female).
I should say in all this that I am no expert in the League. But it is fascinating though!
tj did a good mr.hyde.
can hex the hunter mesh for the hunter guy in the league
Well, the classic League are these guys:
Allan Quatermain
Mina Murray
Hawley Griffen
Cpt. Nemo
Henry Jekyll
Edward Hyde
Quatermain could be best represented by some alteration of the male_rifle mesh, with the AK47 turned into an elephant gun as well as an added goatee and duster hat. Although I guess it would be easier to do an alteration of male_hunter. I think there's a mesh of a woman with a full dress that could work for Mina, while Jekyll and Hyde would be male_suit and male_hulking, respectively (the two would be linked by FFX). Griffen would work with any mesh with a trenchcoat. Nemo is the most problematic, since he has the most extra stuff (the turban, the beard, the saber, the harpoon gun, etc.)

Actually Cpt. Nemo wouldn't be that hard to make, as there are definately pieces for all of those parts on some mesh out there.

...Whah?
It allows you to bring pieces from one mesh to another, turn those pieces on and off, rotate and resize 'em, etc... Pretty much anything, within reason that is.
Can you show some full body shots of some of them? I might be inclined to skope some of them.

Hope that helps

to make that invisible guy should be easy to make
Just picked up the graphic novel from the local library and have to say it's pretty cool! Not surprising though...I have always partial to the Victorian era. All the costumes, colonialism, the world still being large and mysterious and adventurous...and yet there is burgeoning technologies emerging all over the place (cars, planes etc). This might actually be a better MOD than a rumble room skinning venture. I don't know. Still wouldn't mind seeing them in the Danger Room though. :)
Soooooooo, it to summarize, it sounds like:
1. Mr Hyde already exists...somewhere. Any one have an idea where?
2. Raijin might be willing to do Alan Quartermain and states that the Invisible Man would be easy enough to do and may be willing to skin him???
3. Alphanaut states that Captain Nemo would be easy enough to do and may be willing to skin him???
4. That leaves only Mina.
Well, seems like the League may be slowly forming. ;)
if i knew how to nif scope i would do alan but i can't
i could skin the invisible guy on death jester's rorshach
so i'm gonna skin the invisible guy

I'm willing to skope all the characters needed. Skin them, not so much. I might do one or two, though
u could alan and nemo?
Did anything ever come of this? As a huge League fan, being able to play as Allan Quatermain would make my year. :D
I haven't heard a word. A lot of the talk from this kind of fell by the wayside. I'd been planning to skin the characters for a long time, but I put it off due to a lack of meshes and worked on other projects.
mr hyde is in texas jacks 1st yahoo group
But is Texas Jacks first group one that doesn't exist anymore?
maybe someone could send mr hyde?
