Title: Taskmaster Hex Problem
Post by: Dustopus on March 29, 2007, 12:23:27 AM
I've downloaded a number of different skins, and of course some come along with a hexed mesh. Normally, that's fine. But anytime it comes to a hex of the Taskmaster hex, I run into problems. With each hex I've tried to install, the character comes out having no animations, solid white areas of the skin, and clearly visible cords.
Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone else help me out?

Theres several different versions, and you need the correct keyframes for each one. It sounds to me as if you lack the right keyframes.

I know of Taskmaster and Taskmaster Cordless, and I have those, so I'll try them out. I think I heard mention of a Taskmaster v2 somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it. Are there any others I might try to find to see if I can get the hex working?

I think the three you mention are the main ones, but I'm no taskmaster expert...

There's a Taskmaster here:

but I don't know if it's v.1 or v.2.

I know it took me *forever* to find a properly working set of kf's for TMCL (for a Dr. Light mesh), and finally got one with an actual hex of Dr. Light (with more of his bits) by TAP43.  Before that, no matter which one I tried seemed to either not work, or have all the cords sticking out.  I must say, it was quite frustrating.
