Having never attempted any sort of panel-based production before, I shudder to think of the amount of organization it would take for me to even put together an entry, let alone a good one.

However - I am willing to provide whatever assistance I can to someone who has a definite yearning to submit an entry.  One might be able to accomplish something really cool with a supergroup theme.  (And I'll confess to secretly hoping Tort has an interest in creating a Circus Infamous comic book entry.)

Basically, if anyone wants to do an entry, and thinks that one of my characters might be useful in the story, I'm happy to spend time in-game collecting screenshots, taking direction, etc.  If there's something you think I can do to help you put together an entry, I'm all ears.

I'd be very interested in trying something, personally, although I have no idea what at this point. I'd also be happy to contribute characters to other people's efforts.

And Marv Wolfman's one of the judges!

From NCSoft: "'(Canadian residents will be required to answer an additional mathematical question in order to claim their prizes)'"

What, exactly, does that mean?

Us Canucks need to answer a math question that any Junior High+ person should be able to do correctly (it usually requires you to remember the BEDMAS rule).  These things are often added due to Canadian laws, not American laws.

As for a CI comic, I would love to do it, but would require a hand from other folks getting their characters in there...which may be a problem.

I've tossed around some other ideas with MJB for a webcomic, but none of them are 4-8 pages in length.

We've got a month to figure things out -- exciting stuff!

I browsed through the rules earlier and I didn't notice anything on how many entries a person can do. I also didn't notice anything on collaborations.

From what I read they want us to make the comic using screen caps. If a person had a decent script it wouldn't take long to get the shots you would need. I've never used the Comic Book Creator so I don't know how easy it is to use but I don't think it would be very difficult.

I'm jazzed. :)

If I do this, I'm planning to just use demorecord, rather than direct screen captures. Then, I can alter camera angles and edit stuff all I want.

Dark Carnivale says, "as long as you show him eating someone (preferably Mr. Igor), he is willing to be a part of your venture."

I'd be glad to contribute to the cause in any way. I'm no PC whiz, but I'll throw in any of my characters, and I can write also.  Whoever's heading things up, let me know if I can be of assistance or not.

I have no desire to make one of my own, but I'd have no problem with any of my characters appearing in one if need be.

I also have a spare character slot or two left on Freedom that could be used to create a character with a specific look, if extras are needed.

I've started planning out an idea for this that I think has a rather unique twist on it, but I'd likely need someone who knows how to screw around with demorecord to make it work.

You'd get to help with plot, character choice, etc. This isn't "Spud, with assistance by". Full partnership, baby. :)

As an incentive: if we win, you get first shot at prizes, including the vid card. I'm not in it for the prizes, I'm just interested in crushing all other entries.

PM me if you're interested.

For those of you interested in submitting, you may only submit one entry per person.

Also, if collaborating, make sure you decide beforehand who will receive in the in-game prizes as well as the site mention, as you need to submit via your account info.

Good luck!
