dont know if you lot know this i just found out that nifskope 9.6 is avalible for download,

now if i only knew how to use the bloody thing :lol:

As I understand it, its a maintenance release. No major new features but increased stability.

Just a general note:

NifSkope uses OpenGL. Windows Vista has risable OpenGL support. Unless the Video Card makers do (as is rumoured they might) produce OpenGL drivers for their cards, OpenGL applications will NOT work on Vista.

That means NifSkope, Blender, many rendering packages, etc.

(What an own goal eh?)

anyone had any luck with working with the new version, i'm having little to none, when trying to follow the tutorials.

not like i had any luck before this though lol

I get the following error:

nVidia OpenGL Driver
"Driver components mis-match. Exit is the only option."

Mine just says something like "Fundamental Error, please re-install" and closes
