NifScope seems to be the single biggest new thing in FF. I'm not too strong on the details but it looks to be the sort of a thing that a sort of a person like yourself could have some fun with. Apart from that though there is still a nice line of new stuff being made by the talented folks around here. (Honestly, even though there is less stuff being made now than back at the peak times, the variety and quality of what's still being made would blow away the modded content of pretty much any other game out there. (I suppose I should append that with ... that I know of... at the end of that last sentence, just to be safe)).
