i came up with an idea for a group of heroes each with a different power that is given to them by mystical rune symbols.they would have the name of that symbol also.ive got a book on rune symbols and their meanings.i'll check back later with more details.
i'd second this, although some of the runes have meanings/powers that wouldn't translate so well into FF

i couldnt find my book and i dont know how to show the symbols but if someone where intrested in the idea i'm sure the symbols are on the net.i found some notes i had so here are their names and meanings.1.) OS-wisdom/god of magic 2.) TIR-courage 3.)SIGEL-sun/fire/burning energy 4.) UR-strength/agility/endurance 5.)FEOH-power/power over your enviroment 6.) RAD-speed/spirit 7.)ELHAZ-protection.i thought maybe the symbols could be like a glowing or bright tatoo somewhere on them or on there costume somewhere.i think they would make intresting characters.what do you guys think?
i think it's a cool idea, just need to make sure that there's a corresponding FF power or atribute that will match each rune.. the other thing is, some of the runes suggest obvious combat powers, but what about the ones that aren't so obvious, like courage or wisdom?
i'm thinking, if researched correctly and with corresponding abilities in FF (as per noted by Lord E) I'd be interested in putting my hand up to skin these characters. Give us a fuller write-up and outline specifically what your ideas are. I agree with Lord E, courage and wisdom are kinda vague terms when translated into FF. Sounds intriguing tho...
courage could be a fighting spirit,maybe a warrior/fighter character...fierce.wisdom could be powers of the mind or great mental resistance.strength,fire,energy,magic,and speed would be easy.protection could be force fields or invulnerability.they could be a mix of looks....superheroes with touches of mystical/ancient/nordic and traditional superhero looks.i'm sure with the talent i've seen they would look great.maybe a couple could wield mystic weapons.they could look like jack kirbys eternals.space gods.
