Seriously, I am really excited that this man is still making DC stuff.....although, after the cancelation of Justice League, I sort of hoped he'd make an Avenger's series that didn't.....you know....suck out loud. Still, I could TOTALLY dig anything that is mentioned in that story.
I wonder whether the visial style will be the same as that of the DCAU. The Timm/Dini style is classic, but I'm hoping they go for something a little more towards realism... that 40's style worked great for Batman the Animated Series, but I'd like to see the character designs look exactly like the comic book art.
Yeah, I would prefer something more....imaginative, like the B:TAS, but as long as they are behind it, I have confidence that it will be good. I would REALLY love to see them get creative with an Aquaman story. Tell a tale beneath the waves, and approach it with a unique art style. Perhaps use blue backgrounds instead of the black they used for Batman, do a lot of play between reflection and distortion...there is a lot they could do.

I read in wizard that they will not be using the timm inspired artwork but he will have a director or producer roll. also I don't belive there will be any continuity involved in any of the animated projects. The line up I believe will be Superman/Doomsday in sept 07, then its New Frontier with GL Hal/ Martian Manhunter, and the one Im looking forward to, the Judas Contract with character designs reportably by george perez.
also that aquaman parody was pretty funny.
It's fine with me if they don't use the Timmverese art style, and I wouldn't mind if they don't follow continuity because Aquaman has been so badly screwed up since day one that he could DEFFINETLY use a fresh start.
