Ok, here's one of those horribly elementary type questions, so please forgive my ignorance in advance buuuuttL: does anyone know what a ".rar" file is? I wan't to download some Rev's excellent skins...but they are in ".rar" files. Up till now I have only dealt with ".zip" files. Winzip won't work apparently. Is there another program (preferrably free) that I could use?

a rar file is a more compressed zip file essentially. I use winrar which I do believe can be found in a simple google search.

another option is the 7zip freeware program which will unlock zip, rar, tar, and many others. If you would like it, I a have a cd and can copy the install exe and mail it to you. All in all, I have had the best of luck with 7zip, and would recommend it to anyone.
Plus 7-zip's native file format is even more efficient than either rar or zips.
And it's free, so you really can't lose.
