Title: The Guyver
Post by: Arilou Laleelay on February 21, 2007, 03:28:19 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a skin/mesh for The Guyver and other characters from the comic. I love exoskeletons :P. Just take a look at these action figures:

*pokes volsung to finish animating his guyver mesh*

:P

(in all seriousness, there's never been a completed guyver mesh/skin much so the pity :( )

Syn, you are learning all the sweet meshing skills. Do you not think it would be the perfect project?!

But yeah... I'd totally love to see this guy in FF.

reading this ,murders me!

It looks fine in MUA but ,since that model is old,I can see some defect.
(no animation needed for MUA)

Sorry guys,I wish I had more time
If I release it now, it wouldn't have any custom anims only the basic male ones...
Which means no Mega Smasher,Sonic Blades or Pressure Cannon...

Liberty Bay, my pen and paper rpg, some other projects... I can hardly Breathe.
(I was planning to make some models for MUA and finally I did nothing...) :(

There are also plenty of nice male_basic keyframes out there, anyhow.

And let me just say... that looks flippin' sweet!

unless of course you'd be willing to let me take a crack at some animating? i'm not as good as you but it would be fun to try if you dont mind? you could always release the male basic version anyway :P

Wow that looks so cool! The way he is standing and has his head turned is just like the Guyver.

Done , in the releases.
Maybe he should be bigger?
It uses the basic male keyframes so Bunny a classic biped can do the trick! :P
(It don't have the mega smasher)

Awww, bummer. It's a FFvTTR mesh  :( Any chance for a FF1 export?

Even if i exported it with ff1 exporter, it got dds texture
There's a new one in the releases now.

Let me know if there's brightness problems in FF1

What do you mean? By skinning you mean texturing? or assigning a mesh on a biped skeletton?

texturing, tho by conventional names a low  poly model where you paint in the highlights and shadows etc. by hand I refer to as skinning, texturing I would apply more to high poly models where specific details are more likely to be rendered via bump and normal mapping :)
tho i've now started both a texture and setting up some male basic keys to be set for the character :)
