Saw this on Digg, thought it was pretty cool. They had adult artists turn kids' monster sketches into professional-quality illustrations.

Yeah, I saw stuff like this quite some time ago... Was it the same site? Maybe.
It's a fantastic idea. Children's drawings are inherently creepy.
i'm kinda dissapointed that a few of the "pro" designs look almost like they were simply traced from the original and recolored..
That's kinda the point-- taking the malformed and poorly-structured scribblings and making them look intentional.
