Title: modding programs
Post by: freedomforceforever on February 05, 2007, 01:29:54 PM
Hey guys,i'm new to the boards. I want to make my own mods for freedom force and was wondering if there are any good programs out there. I read something about Ez script, is that available?  Any help would be appreciated.

FFX 3.2 comes with EZScript. I believe that a manual installs with it. The beta is currently at http://libertybay.freedomforceforever.com/ffx.htm.

It's pretty much plain English, so it's relatively easy to use.  Most people will find this better than using Python, which is the programing language normally used for scripting.  I personally prefer the Python, but that's just because I can work with it and prefer the degree of control it adds.

Don't forget to download the modding tools from freedomfans.com.  It's not possible to really do anything without them, even with EZScript.
