Does anyone remember a cartoon with a team of super heros (one of them was called nutcase) and the main character was a little boy who would get covered in green slime and turn into a hero? I believe he had a lightning bolt on his chest, or something to that effect. There was also a lady with blades of some kind, and a large purple and green guy. I can't quite remember the name, but I remember a scene where the boy reverts to his boy form and he is saved by the heroes. He then admits that he's a child, and yadda yadda yadda. It's been bugging me for a few weeks now, and I haven't been able to find anything.

it sounds like that old comic but the guys name was hardcase and they had an ironman type guy named prototype and the kid in the slime was prime right? I think the comic and the cartoon was called Ultraforce

I believe the boy turned into Prime. And the show was called Ultraforce.

Lady with blades I'm guessing is Zealot from the WildC.A.T.S. cartoon. As is the purple and green guy is Maul, from the same toon as Zealot.

Wow, I thought I imagined the whole thing, cause no one knew what I was talking about. Thanks for the help  :D

Yeah, I heard awhile back that rights for UltraForce, WildC.A.T.s, and Savage Dragon were picked up for a U.S. DVD release a year or so ago. Apparently that company went out of business about the same time that Rhino Video lost the rights to Transformers/G.I.Joe. So I'm sorry to say that unless someone else picks up the rights to air them on cable or DVD distrubution they shall be stuck in limbo with all of the other classic cartoons unreleased thus far.
