Middy, Mike and I were discussing the possibility of having a regular lvl 50 team-up night, to haul out them dusty toons and collect mad inf and drops. And for the fun of the old toons. That too.
So, this Tuesday (and hopefully subsequent Tuesdays), starting at 8 pm EST, meet in FR and NRF chat and log in as a lvl 50 toon. For the sake of easiness and to get more people involved, let's say heroes this week. If there's enough people, we'll run multiple teams, and the teams can decide what they do (missions, Orobouros exemped missions and TFs, STF, Lady Grey, etc.)

None of my older fiddies (13, Wicca, Steel) have touched their RWZ arcs, so we have a lot of ammo.
There's also the Katie TF. Exemped, magic salvage - and a good chance at a great reward. And it can be done in an evening. (or well under an hour the fast way)

As much as I'd love to get Gusto to 50 (he's so close!) the intent is to haul out the 50s and cram out some good loot. If it becomes a levelling-thing, the intent is somewhat lost. I'd be more than happy to team Gusto with any mid-40s villains any other night.

I caught the tail end of this and it was pretty fun. JK and I later went on to help Valandar with his squishie-lite version of the Save the World mish, which was amusing since we were all using cosmically themed characters after a fashion. Next week a may bring Maddy, I kind of miss setting fire to Mikey's herds.
Tuesday, April 22 will be Villains 50 Night. We could run the Cap SF or LRSF, if we start early enough. Meet in FR and NRF chat at 8:00 pm EST!
The Cap SF is 15-19 and the LRSF is 45-50 for what it's worth. :D

Depending on how much studying i get done after work i will dust of my Ice/Cold Corruptor for this.
Eight (and then seven at one point) brave lvl 50s weathered the Cap au Diable SF. At times we were the whuppers, at other times we were the whuppees. All in all, it was enjoyable.
Next week how about we try the Lady Grey TF? It's been mentioned at each 50s Night, so there are at least a few folks interested. And once again, more than one team is welcome!
I'd love to roll Wicca out again next week. Ill be there.
Once summer rolls around and nightly kid homework duty winds down, I may log on and dust off one of my 50s.

I've never done the LGTF, so I'll try to be there on GM (since I'm probably not going to get my PB from 44 to 50 by then).

Yes, the drops were crappy. The best things I got were a diamond and the Cherubic Wings costume piece. I got one of the Executioner's Contract recipes as the TF reward, and it sold for around 2500 influence.
The last AV was a pain (three of us finally busted out Amy's Ward on it), and I had to do the old phase shift, run and tp corpses bit once after a really bad pull, but other than that we did okay.
That wasn't a pull...being so happy for finally finishing off The Honoree, Tort ran up and aggroed a large part of his entourage. I jumped in the middle to a'splode all over them and died a happy, happy death. It was a thing.

Tuesday, May 13, will be a return to Hero-side 50s teaming. Suggestions for mission ideas are welcome!
Personally, I would love to start working through the Oroborous TFs, since I have yet to play any of that content on any of my characters.
50s Night typically starts around 8 pm EST. Check the FR and NRF chat channel for team-ups.
All of the oro hero side TF's are fun. The Mender Silos one is challenging, but certianly doable. Ill be there, with either Wicca or London Steel, depending on who/what we need.
I'd like to do the STF, but after trying it once before I think we'd need a team that can actually stay full - at least until we take down Mako, anyway....
Or we could wait till I12 when they will be reducing Mako's armor.
Ive been itchin to do another STF myself. At this point i think next week will be back to normal schedule for me so i should be GTG on tuesday.
Tuesday is my day off in case you need a tank (or I can finally get that damn badge on my scrapper).
I'm shooting to be on Tuesday night at this point. Condor's done the STF before, but he's built for it and I love running it. Probably can't do the whole thing in one weeknight, but can do two or at least help y'all get started.

Splitting the LGTF over two nights (two Tuesdays) worked fairly well, although we were left with only 5 of the original 7 (or 8?) members. I would love to do STF but would hate to be stuck on Week #2 with half a team.
So it looks like either an Oro TF or STF is on tap for Tuesday.

Its a Co-op zone - so any toon level 35 or over can run it once they can access Cimerora. My bets are for a constant stream of TFs. So if you have a 35+ its a good opportunity to get XPs to level 50.

Looks like it, because apparently the entrance to the new zone is in the Midnighter Club. I've been knocking out the missions solo on Heroic (would've bumped it to Rugged if Rikti weren't involved),and haven't faceplanted yet. One of the missions had more Mentalists in it than it seemed a right to, but I have 2 holds and the Gun Drone so it was no sweat.
I *may* not make it to 50s night as I had to log off before I could finish the storyarc to gain access and I don't know if I'll be able to finish it before 8pm. I just got the mission to make the temp power, which I guess is near the end of the storyarc, before having to log.
(I only have 2 characters I even care about getting the Roman costume pieces on, and one is still in the early 20s)

[spoiler]Lady Jane is a total kamikaze and gets killed in two seconds if you don't pay attention to her. AND you fail the mission if she dies. If you're on a team, assign a support toon to grab her, then try to keep her back from the fray. Regardless, she'll probably go all suicidal and charge into the melee with her itty-bitty pop-gun blazing, so keep an eye on the little maniac. That is, if you care. :P[/spoiler]

From what I understand, you don't have to unlock the new TF; you just have to be able to get into the Midnighter Club so you can go to the new zone to do it.

If I'm around tonight (and I probably will be), I'd like in on this. A7 has access to the new zone (never got around to doing the required missions with Crazy Kate, however...).
One suggestion, though. As my one failed attempt at this TF showed me, the AVs at the end are extremely tough. Since this is a cooperative heroes/villains mission, I suggest that people stop by Pocket d beforehand and stock up on Drops of Power, Resistance, and Vitality (for those who don't know, these are sold by specific bartenders in Pocket D and are only useful on cooperative hero/villain teams. When used by a hero on a villain, or by a villain on a hero, they temporarily greater increase the target's stats. I believe they're sold 5 dosages at a time, and I think you can't carry more than 5 at a time, though I may be wrong- haven't bought any in a while. They appear as temp powers, usable on allies, until used up.) This will work especially well if there are equal numbers of heroes and villains on the team- during the final battle, we can "buddy up" in hero-villain pairs and make sure each other are constantly enhanced. I strongly suggest, however, that people save the drops for that final battle.
I have 2 L50's ready to go for the TF tonight. If we get enough players we could run 2 teams of 6.

I may or may not be able to make it tonight. We're expecting thunderstorms in the area this evening, and there is NO way my daughter is going to sleep alone through them. I've got a /rad corrupter, emp defender, willpower tank and /stone brute available for the TF, whatever's needed.
I did the ITF a few days ago with Marm, Windy from BoW and a few other people (mostly pick-ups) a few days ago, so I'll be skipping it. I will warn you however that the last 3 missions will be lag city! (I was lagging worse than at a full Hami raid on the last two missions)
I've only been able to get Tortuga through the Midnighter Club missions so far, so I'll be in Cimerora as him by 7:45 pm EST.

I've tried it, what, four times now (I think), and every time, one or more people had to leave right at the end, and we were unable to win (although in each case we held our own). I'd definitely be up for finally doing this- especially if it's sometime next month, since this month I'll be away part of the time.

The problem when I did it was we didn't have a debuffer or enough yellow inspirations when we faced Mako, and we lost one person before we got to him. W must've beat on him for the better part of half an hour before giving up.

STF is definitely on the agenda, as would be LRSF. We seem to have full teams of 8 consistently, so both are doable.
How about we say:
June 10 - ITF
June 17 - STF
June 24 - complete the STF; or LRSF
I'm down for doing the STF. It's been far too long since I ran that beast.
I have a radical suggestion. How about on the week of the 17th, we expand 50's night to 2 nights? This way we finish the STF in a couple days without tying up anyone's toon for a full week. This would also leave the 24th free for the LRSF.

I've got 4 50s (Knight Star/Blaster, Doc Medic/Healer, Sir. Gladuhad/Tanker and DMenacer/Stormer) now that can join in if needed. Most of them need to do the Midnight First mission arc but they're all level 50's. DMenacer and Sir Gladuhad has finished the first mission arc and the first mission in Rome, I'm going to try and get just as far with Knight Star but I know that Doc Medic is going to need help in doing it.
Grrrr, I'm a scratch for this again! :banghead: The end of the school year is insaaaane - but it is nice when it ends! Enjoy....

Count me out for the ITF. My PB is only lvl 45 and hasn't even started the MC storyarc and I'm less than a level away from 50 on Colonel Stryker so I'll be running missions on him tonight (provided I can find or make an actual team, that is) and I've already run the ITF on him and on GhostMachine.
Gonna skip this week. I never got Wicca through the Midnighter arc, and I prolly should let someone else enjoy the fiddiness for a week.

We had a massive thunderstorm/rain downpour...I could barely see 20 ft. ahead of me as I drove home. Still managed to get home for supper and on time for 50s Night, but then our basement windows started to leak. So I had to take care of the Tortlings while Madam T took care of the leaks. We had a cooler sitting under one of the windows, and it was 2/3 full!

Ill be on. Why don't we just try flat out teaming for a bit, instead of some epic ? That way we can be more flexible with the schedule, and people can drop in and out.
Im only a maybe tonight. Gotta pick up the wife at the airport and not sure if we will be grabbing something to eat up there or heading straight home. So if im home ill be on by 8, dont wait up.

Ok, Team fiddy managed to work its way to the last mish of the STF, blow through the AV's including the nerfed Mako, but got stuck on Recluse at the end. The plan of action is to grab shivans and/or nukes from warburg and reconviene with the heavy artillery to combat Captain Cheater and his towers.
Correct me if I'm wrong but we will have to re-stomp the other 4 avs before taking on Recluse.

I did something really stupid.
When I logged last night, I quit the TF before logging.
I know...I wasn't thinking straight. Really really stupid.
You are correct MJB. And while I'm still on the TF, I thought I saw at least one players quit out of the TF last night. So I think last night's team is done.
I'll be on vacation next Tuesday, so good luck guys if you'll run the TF again.

Sucks about the TF. I was going to try to be on for 50s night last night, but around 7:30pm or so someone else needed the computer for something important (to them , that is - and didn't bother to tell me ahead of time; next time that happens, they're getting ye olde evil eye!), and the other computer here won't run CoX (only has 512mb of memory and a crap video card, for one thing).
Oh, well. These things happen.
What we managed to complete was certainly fun, so I'd be up for trying again soon.
No big deal. We know we can handle everything they throw at us until the last battle, and we just need to come prepared with teh shivans, and we can roll it in one night. The nerfed mako, while still tough, was SOOOOOOOO much better fighting than the original.
I'll have Condorito all shivved and nuked up for the next one. :thumbup:

Oops forgot to mention earlier in the day, but Im out from Tuesday Nights for the time being. Silly professor scheduled his class during 50s night. Although if i sit in the back of the room i could play from class....hmmm. :cool:
