Oh man, I totally forgot about that. I hope everyone involved in that was well paid. And considering what I know about the anime dub industry back in the day, they probably were not. The infamous "4Kids are the Devil" joke was the direct result of them NOT being paid for the commercials.

To me the most surreal part of this is that it's the closest to a proper crossover between different iterations of Digimon.

GALADOR.....Man, Fox Kids between Spider-Man Unlimited and The Fox Box/4Kids TV was weird.

Here's one that always stuck in my head....the fact that this gag got done by Daryl in The Walking Dead makes it even better.

There was actually the finale of Xross Wars/Fusion,but people seem to forget that one even existed.

Scooby Doo Project. Cartoon Network did a lot of weird stuff back in those days. It was awesome.

Got getting dubbed (and from what I've heard, not being very good) will do that. Even still, from what I've seen on the wiki, it wasn't exactly what I had in mind.
