Sick Kitty

Hello guys, once again, I'm asking those of you that pray to remember my family.  Lady Grey lost her grandmother, who helped raise her and to whom she was very close, last week.  This week, one of our two cats, Fatty Bolger, became extremely sick, practically overnight.  It's quite dire, and Lady Grey, already reeling from the first loss, which she was struggling with, is taking it extremely hard.  Apparently, Fatty has a kidney infection, and the vet said he has a 1 in 4 chance.  We've got him at home and are giving him antibiotics and fluids, but he is very weak and having trouble breathing.  He's the sweetest, silliest, and most loving animal I've ever known, and our home would be infinitely less joyful and whimsical without him in it.  Please pray for healing for him and comfort for Lady Grey.

Thanks guys.  We're seeing some improvement today, several hopeful signs.  He's still very sick, but we are somewhat encouraged.

I lost my one and only last year on my birthday, Peanut. Not really over it to be honest. So for Peanut, all my strength of heart to your furry kids recoveries here.

You never forget them, and they can never be replaced. You may have another come along that makes it's own place in your heart.

That's the size of it. People keep offering. A few kittens now, puppies and even a tortoise. Thing is they aren't Peanut. In the meantime I buy dog treats and visit my neighbors dogs to get some animal happy on, three of em total. My next door had a stroke and forgets her dogs exist so they need the attention. Good kids. But I'd be liar to say there wasn't a hole in my life right now. He was my baby boy. Died suddenly of poisoning, vet thinks he ate a bug or something.

Thank you my friends!  Please keep praying, but things are looking much better.  Our furry friend is on the mend, and he is pretty much back to his old self, at least in terms of attitude.  He is still eating little, but it is night and day to where he was last week.  Lady Grey is doing correspondingly better as well, and things are markedly more cheerful in Grey Manor today.
