Hmm...interesting. I've no idea what is on that group cause it's been a long time since I put stuff on yahoo. Bit interesting it's still around though.

What a fantastic find!  A really nice selection of Characters, I was really happy to see the Shield, and SS Agent, but I've always wondered where the Flash Skin came from. I knew it was a DJ creation, but I had never seen it anywhere before. It was always a favorite.

You know, I don't think I put this site up...I'm not sure though.  From what I can read (I AM NOT JOINING YAHOO to look at the files), it looks like it's most of my FFUnderground skins which means it doesn't have Wild Card v2 in it but the first version as well.  Hell, I barely even remember making skins of the Shield or Flash....jeez....been so many skins over the years I've forgotten more than I can remember.

Age will do that to you, DJ. So will children. But hey, selective memory works for me ;)

I should have specified, the Flash Skin I was referring to was an Avatar Skin for Flash_22798, and like I said, it was very much a favorite, and it was extremely appreciated.

I think it's more on how many skins I did over the years, Wolvie1...and how many places they were hosted on that explains why I can't remember them all.  I mean, I go back to being one of the early FFCenter posters and jumped from there to Kraven's Marvel Page to Electric Freedom to FFUNderground and NPI to UnfluffyBunny to FRP....you get the picture...

I still don't remember it....I'm guessing I used C6's base for that one?

Kind of like a rat on a sinking ship, covered in plague vermin.

A site I haven't looked at probably since before I could play the game. It has a lot of interesting stuff... sadly, none that I have found accessible

JKCarrier

Wow, I had completely forgotten about Dragon Force.  :o

The stuff in my section, at least, should all be available in my Yahoo groups.

Get my skins at:

Heeeeyyy... I found a single Mr. Terrific skin by Thunder that was still there. I already had it, but it was there.

daglob

I was asked by a newer member if there were any Transformers, so I went and checked Valandar's NPI page at The Wayback Machine before I pointed him there. I discovered that none of the links work. I haven't checked any of the other pages, but I have a bad feeling about this...

At this site, something is still there, but the .tga files want to download as html.

Out of curiosity, I tried this link again, and was able to download the skins.

Aaaaannnd... when I was able to examine them they were corrupted.

Cyber Burn

Wasn't able to even download anything from there.

Since we're talking about FF history here, do we want to use this thread to discuss the FF Museum? Or do we want to create something new for it?

Cyber Burn

Came across this Link using the Way Back Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20021006203435/http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Maze/8681/table.html

Seemed kind of interesting.

WyldFyre

I remember that site. :)  DC Heroes RPG stats. Ahhh.... memories.

I wonder if there's anyway to back that site up. Maybe put it on a PDF File or something. Seems like a waste to let someone's hard work eventually disappear.

daglob

I just tried saving Adam Strange as html on my hard drive, and it seems to work. Maybe it can be converted to .mht...

daglob

Hmmm... I can't seem to save the archives at all.

Same here, it was my favorite Super-Hero RPG for years.

I did manage it. I'm going to post a link to a couple of zips with all I could get.

Not sure if we're still keeping track of Sites found through the Wayback Machine. But just in case:

http://wayback.archive.org/web/20060501220005oe_/http://pages.sbcglobal.net:80/heathcliff/home.html

I was able to pick up a few Skins off here this morning.

daglob

Good find. I need to make a list of the sites on The Wayback Machine that still have skins and meshes.

Cyber Burn

I can't remember, did we post this one yet?

http://web.archive.org/web/20021220174423/http://webpages.charter.net:80/heroconversions/

daglob

No, it doesn't seem to be on the list. That one is actually still active. I knew about it years ago, but lost the address some time or another.

I've added it to the list of active sites in the FF Historical Preservation thread.
