that's right.  you know how moore likes to take disparate characters and make them into a superhero team?  well, american doesn't have as long of a history as his homeland, so he has to use american solicitor iconographs.
the strong man of the group:  Jolly Green Giant
gadget guy:  Mr. Clean
rugged individual:  Brawny Man  (mentored by the Marlboro Man)
team leader:  Rosie the Riveter

team name:  Counter Agents

(and Randy reads Strangers in Paradise.  I saw the review on his website!  It's true.  Apparently Randy enjoys a good tear jerker drama.)

The Maytag Repairman would be a good "gadget guy". They could travel around on Cap'n Crunch's ship. And we've gotta work Mrs. Butterworth in there somewhere...a walking, talking bottle of syrup would be right up Moore's alley.

A Playboy Bunny would certainly be included for the obligatory sex scene.

Tawodi Osdi

Let's not forget the evil Mr Whipple, and just whose side is Madge the Manicurist really on.

I'd put Reddy Killowatt in there too. Good energy-based character who has been around a long time.

For your "misunderstood monster" you could have either the Nauga or the One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People-Eater.

...and for a deus ex machine-type character you could use a little gray rabbit...
