I need to use the idle animation as ranged animation (for my chaos dreadnought in progress) but when i use m5 keyframe tool and rename the animation to ranged it wont show in game...any help pliz?
Are you just copying the idle animation from the dreadnaught and renaming it?
Or is the idle animation from something else?
If it's from the dreadnaught, then it needs a "leave_hand" text key added to it.
If it's from something else, then it will also require any missing bones to be added to the nif.
Ok spidey i tried to copy his own idle animation and rename it to ranged_2 then i opened nifskope and added the leave_hand string in the ni text key extra data, saved the thing, and opened the game but it wont show, there must be something i miss...
hmm... I'll take a look about doing something similar with another mesh and see what I can come up with.
Managed to achieve something that i like but changed my original project...thanks anyway for your help my friend.
