Title: Sledgehammer's Voicepacks
Post by: Sledgehammer on February 12, 2012, 07:05:43 PM
Well, it's been a while...

Between real life situations and a major problem with my CPU (which deleted my whole FF collection), I decided to take a step back from Freedom Force for a while. But, as usual, this game keeps pulling me back sooner or later, even after all these years.

It's good to be back. The community seems to be a little smaller, but I'm glad many familiar names are still around. This has always been a nice niche, and I'm sure it continues to be that way.

I'm currently reorganizing my skins, meshes and getting everything ready. But I do plan on releasing Voicepacks in the near future. You may have to wait a month or so, but eventually I'll start to create some new features for the game.

Well, that's all for now. Again, nice to be back. And I hope this time I stay for a really long time.

It's nice to have you back, Sledgehammer, and it's very cool that you plan to continue doing voice packs. Sorry about the problems you've encountered, but on the bright side, you can see the lost of FF files as a time to reorganize... maybe?

Thanks, Prev.

Actually, I did have some backup files. But they are a bit old, so I have some catching up to do. Luckily, all the stuff from the GPL era, for instance, is safe.

So I'm in the process of getting everything in order, and it is proving to be quite useful for reorganizing myself. Keeping things tidier, in a way.

Sledge,

Glad to have you back and getting ready to jump back into the voice making groove once you get the game and materials back up and running. I've been on hiatus myself for awhile for the same reasons of technical issues and offline things dragging me away from my projects. Looking forward to working together in getting some major voice packs released in the near future. Welcome back to the workload asylum and hope we can stay here as long as possible.

Glad to hear from you, CQ. I've got a card or two up my sleeve, so I guess you'll be liking my next batch of VPs. Hopefully we can still provide the community with much-needed sound material.
